Your dog is upset because you haven’t taken him for a hike in months
You can’t get through the workday because your back hurts
Every time you pick up a pickleball paddle, your elbow hurts
The gym isn’t even an option because you’re hurt
You’ve lost months of training for your sport or playing due to injury
Your back hurts when you swing a golf club
You’re in pain, and can’t do what you gives you life. That’s frustrating. On day 1, you and your Physical Therapist will create a plan to get you back to your life as soon as possible. You’ll figure out the root cause of your pain, and understand what you can and cannot do — and trust us, there’s nothing you can’t do.
With your Physical Therapist, you’ll know each step of the plan from getting you off the sideline, and back to what you love. PT is a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, and hard work in the gym. This isn’t your grandparents PT.
After carrying out the treatment plan, you’re handed the keys. Time to get back out there. Throughout your Physical Therapy journey, you’ll be given the skills to identify when things might be getting worse, and what to do about it. Plus, we’re always here for a tune-up if you need it.
At Polaris PT & Wellness we offer a wide and diverse assortment of treatment modalities. They are always performed by a licensed physical therapist with a board certification in orthopedics.
Manual therapy can consist of, but is not limited to: soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, thrust joint manipulation, stretching, and trigger point release
Dry Needling is not acupuncture, but utilizes the same implement to help relieve myofascial pain by going directly at painful trigger points that can be a major contributor to your dysfunction
IASTM utilizes blunt instruments or cups (cupping) to break up adhered and dysfunctional tissue. Promoting blood flow and mobility that is difficult to obtain when just using manual therapy alone.
Physical therapists are the experts when it comes to movement analysis. Through a thorough analysis we are to see the root cause of your pain.
Most people think of their therapist for after an injury or only when they have pain. Through movement analysis, manual therapy, & corrective exercise, PREhab can prevent future injury
At Polaris PT & Wellness we can help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals. Through our extensive knowledge of exercise science and having coached countless functional fitness athletes we are equipped to help you stay active and fit.
